Sunrise or sunset is best. At sunrise there is often the chance for fog, however a portion of the bridge lights up at night.

Travel Information

There is parking about a half mile off the bridge on Qf Lane, Madrid. It is part of a popular bike so beware of bikers and stay to the right. The bridge is open all year round but very popular in the summer.

Great photo! Not a whole lot to see in town but I was there for a family reunion in September and stayed in Madrid for a few days. Nice walk to the bridge- (and it's always nice to be in Iowa!)
