One of the most famous and beautiful buildings on 5th Avenue in New York is the Flat Iron Building with a unique shape, which is pretty narrow in the front and getting wider to the back. There is a neat park (Madison Square Park) in front of Flat Iron, which offers great opportunities for photography in combination with the building. Just like Time Square, there are usually quite a few taxis around this place.

How is the rule to use tripod in NYC Streets? I Love long exposure, but i'd like to know if I can have any problem with an police office to do one photo like that

I did a few long exposures myself and never had an issue but I also didn't think that this could be forbidden as long as you are not disturbing the traffic or anybody. Around Brooklyn Bridge, everybody used a tripod. If I was you I would probably try it and if I see police standing there, I would simply ask if it's allowed or not. And if it's not, I would use other equipment to somehow stabilize the camera upwards from the ground. Hope that helps and I wish you a great time in New York!
