This place has a crazy history. I'm so sad to see one of the giant buildings has been torn down. There's a place here called the Apache Death Cave which has a very dark history of two American Indian tribes fighting. A man nicknamed Two Guns tried to turn this into a tourist spot. That failed. A KOA was erected here and that also failed.

Photography Tips

Bring water, it's hot here. Lot's of interesting caves and structures to stop and see. Probably best to photograph at sunrise or sunset, but you're a long way from civilization.
