USA Loop Road
Immediately north of the Everglades National Park follows the Big Cypress National Preserve. From the motorway (Highway 41) that leads through it, there is a turn-off that curves southwards through the middle of the deep swamps, the Loop Road.
I encountered nature even more intensively than in the national park. Alligators obviously thrive here.

Travel Information
Loop Road is only tarmac in the eastern section, the dirt road in the western section is certainly unpleasant to drive in wet conditions.
