Cuyahoga Valley National Park preserves 33,000 acres along 22 miles of the Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron in northeastern Ohio. It has wonderful trails through forests and meadows, with easy access to waterfalls, ponds, a river and streams.

This area is excellent for beginners because the best photo ops are easily accessed by car and foot. this park has great photo options from macro to landscape to waterfalls, so whatever your skill level or interest, there will be something to please you. And it is not crowded.

Reaching the park is easy as it is under 4 miles from the closest highway (OH Rt 8). Parking within the park is abundant and strategically located near great photo ops.
