This is one of two Lutheran churches in the Skagit Valley of Washington State where Mount Baker looms large in the background.

Photography Tips

You will need a telephoto lens to compress the mountain and bring it closer to the church. The shot is best taken at last light as the mountain is front lit.

Travel Information

Take the exit from I-5 towards La Conner and take the left on Wylie road and follow it around until there is a bend in the road where there is parking along the side. The shot will be set up right in front of you.
