This site captures the beauty of an old dairy farm standing in the shadow of the Twin Sisters Mountain in Whatcom County just south of the town of Lynden, Washington State.

Photography Tips

You need to come here in the winter or spring when the snow is still on the mountain and hope for a good clear day. Bring your telephoto lens to compress the mountain and a tripod and don't forget to use the polarizer if the conditions are correct. Come in the evening when the mountain is front lit.

Travel Information

An easy drive south of the pleasant town Lynden; take the Hannegan Road and turn left on Abbot Road and you'll see the shot in about 100m. Park at the side of the road and walk a short way down the road being respectful of the private farmland. There are plenty of nice restaurants to enjoy in Lynden.
