A beautiful area of Michigan connecting the upper and lower peninsulas of the state. Know for unpredictable weather and sea conditions which has claimed countless ships and lives over the years.

Photography Tips

Shooting from both sides of the bridge is advised providing both good sunrise and sunset photo ops. Night photography of the bridge can also be very rewarding.

Travel Information

I-75 takes you all the way through the state of Michgan north to south and directly over the bridge. Parking can be crowded in the summer months. Also exploring Mackinac Island when in the area is a must! No cars on the island.
