Cadillac Mountain is located on Mount Desert Island, within Acadia National Park. With an elevation of 1,530 feet, it is the first location that sees sunrise on the continental U.S. Cadillac Mountain overlooks Bar Harbor and provides incredible morning sunrises.

Photography Tips

Get here early as parking can be difficult in the busy seasons of summer and autumn. Wind can be an issue so use a tripod and stabilize it with additional weight.

Travel Information

Getting to Cadillac Mountain is easy. The Park Loop Road winds approximately 3.5 miles to the summit and provides several key spots along the way.
