I graduated in the summer of 2021 as a video game developer. At this point, I had 0 experience with photography, but wanted something different than a 9-to-5 job behind a desk. I embarked on the adventure of travelling the world solo for one year.
During my travels, I revived my deep-rooted passion for drones and aviation. I began what would later become "Daansdrones."
What followed were months of adventures, daily drone shoots and a large number of battery swaps. I started by taking the typical 'holiday pictures' of myself, but slowly changed to capturing more professional images.
Since returning to my home country, Belgium, I continue to pursue my passion for unique aerial shots by becoming a licensed freelance drone pilot.
I'm a sucker for moody shots and mountainous landscapes <3
