I received my first Digital SLR camera on my 40th birthday. As always, I'm late to the party. All kidding aside, I would be remiss if I didn't thank my beautiful and supportive girlfriend for this gift that has become a passion of mine. Living in Bellevue, Washington gives me a wonderful opportunity to capture city, landscape and nature shots in every direction. I love photography because it is a means to offer my perspective to others without using words and is approachable as such. Photography is something that most can do, but few can do really well. I am in the former category. Like golf, hitting that clean 3 iron produces a stirring feeling that is most often elusive, but that's part of the beauty.
