In my teenage years, already infatuated by photography I was drawn predominantly to nature. In 1979, I was presented with the opportunity to pursue my hobby professionally.
Two solo photo-expeditions in the Arctic to Spitzbergen (1981, 1984) count among my most valuable and formative personal experiences.
I continue to experiment and explore all the new possibilities in the world of digital photography. Regular image rankings at LFI (Leica Fotografie International) as well as Leica Master Shots are affirmations of my work.
