Photography Tips
Definitely think about your gear that you want to carry on with you! What is your intention? What would you like to shoot the most? For an example I left my wide angle lens in the car and did some multiple shots with my 24-70mm for a panorama, which I later merged in Lightroom.
Travel Information
The hike to Laguna Esmeralda is a relatively easy to moderate trek of about 8–10 km round trip, typically taking 3 to 4 hours. The trail begins in a valley along the Sierra Alvear and passes through peat bogs, forests, and open landscapes, offering constant views of the surrounding mountains. While accessible for most hikers, sections can be muddy and wet, so proper footwear is recommended, especially after rain.
