Bruny Island Lighthouse and out buildings Tasmania Australia

When you arrive at the car park there is a museum and there are tours to climb the lighthouse but you will need to book as the day we were there the tour was booked out. These are the buildings that supported the persons involved in manning teh light house from 1838 to 1996 having the longest manned lighthouse in Australia at 158 years

Travel information

The last 20 klms are dirt roads with the last section of the road being quite rough. Parking is free but is a bit limited.
