It is a very pleasant hike to the top of Mt. Ngungun with a beautiful panoramic view of the area including the Glass House Mountains which are a unique feature of the region.

Photography Tips

If you are doing a panorama a tripod is necessary, otherwise you can get away with handheld. A polarizing filter would be good as well. I took 4 shoots in the portrait position then merged them together in Lightroom.

Travel Information

You require a car to get to this area. There is free parking at the base of Mt. Ngungun. Make sure to bring water for the hike up.
