This is one of several memorial sites in the CBD of Sydney. Hyde Park provides a number of view points of the Anzac Memorial and it is worth a visit. I found it more photogenic after dark.

Photography Tips

I think this site is best photographed after dark, which means a tripod is required. If you go late enough pedestrian traffic pretty well disappears and with the long exposure if someone walks through it doesn't matter as they don't appear in the image. 30 sec, f/19, ISO 160, focal length 30mm.

Travel Information

Walking and public transit are the best methods of getting to the park. There is parking available in the CBD but it is all paid parking.
