Travelling on the Oodnadatta Track through the flat desolate landscape there suddenly emerges on the horizon two aircraft standing on their tails. This is the primary sculpture in the Mutonia Sculpture Park, also known as Plane Henge. Also, there is a big dog and various robot figures all built from scrap materials by Robin Cooke.

Photography Tips

There is plenty of light! 1/2000, f/6.7, ISO 100, 34 mm.

Travel Information

This is a remote desert area. The Oodnadatta track is a good gravel road but may be corrugated, and after rain may be impassable. It is not recommended to travel in summer.
