Bare Island is a heritage-listed islet located in south-eastern Sydney. At European contact the Gweagal and Kameygal Aboriginal groups were associated with Bare Island.

Travel Information

Entry onto the Island is via a tour but you can travel across the bridge and there is a set of stairs that takes you onto the rocks around the island. Be careful about large waves and high tide
