Australia Poppet Head and Mountains, Zeehan, Tasmania
A Poppet Head is a tall structure used to bring ore to the surface in the case of Zeehan it was silver lead. Zeehan was established as a town in 1882 and named Zeehan in 1890. The town is quite small with historic building an a good Museum explaining the town.

Zeehan is about 30 30-minute drive north of Strahan so good for a trip there and back in the morning to explore.
