It's a big rock above Dove Lake that you can step up and out onto to get a nice view of Cradle Mountain.

Photography Tips

Come in the evening hours, then the light comes in beautifully from the side over the mountains.

Travel Information

The starting point of the hike is Dove Lake. It's a 15-minute walk. From 8 am to 6 pm, there are only shuttle buses from the visitor center. Before and after that you can drive your own car to the park.
