Photography Tips

You can get the best pictures at Sunset when the Sun is painting the Mountains Red and get the so called "Aplenglühn" effect. You can also go up here for Sunrise but then you have to get on the top of the Mountain the "Grundegg" which will take you about 1h. Also Night photography is good because there is no lightpollution. Good for Mikyway pictures!

Travel Information

You can Park your Car at the big parkingplace "Grüdegg" for free. From there you walk about 40min - 1h to the Weißalm, depends on your conditions. At the weißalm you can eat, drink and also sleep if you want.
