Austria Mount Katrin

The Katrin is a mountain south of Bad Ischl. It is 1542 m high. There is a cable car running from Bad Ischl to it's upper station at 1415 m. From there you can start hiking tours of different difficulty and ou will have a great view to Bad Ischl, the Traun Valley in the north and to Gosau and the Dachstein in the south. Really a nice place.

Travel Information

Parking is possible at the cable car station. You will get back the fee when purchasing the ticket for the cable car. I don't konwo exactly but I am sure there will be a bus service from the center of Bad Isch as well.
