Austria Milchstraße im Nationalpark Gesäuse
The Spot is a few hundred meters above the Grabneralm in Austria. From here you have a fantastic few across the harsh mountains of the "Gesäuse national park" in Styria.
Photography Tips
If you want to photograph the milky way, bring a tripod, a star tracker and a wide angle lens. You might also need warm clothes as the hike can be challenging and you will sweat. Hikingsticks are also recommended.
Travel Information
The only way here is to hike for 1.5 - 2 hours. Park your car at the parking spot "Buchauer Sattel" and hike to "Grabneralm" it's best to use Komoot. If you hike at night, you have to bring a headlamp or at least a flashlight or you won't see anything.
