Austria Stams abbey

Stams Abbey is a beautiful monastery in the village of Stams in Tyrol, Austria. It was built in the 13th century and is one of the most important monasteries in the country. The church is famous for its beautiful Baroque style, colorful paintings, and detailed decorations inside.

The best time to take photos is in the morning or late afternoon when the light is soft. Take pictures of the front of the abbey to show its beautiful architecture. Inside the church, look for the colorful ceiling paintings and the detailed altar, but you need to ask for permission to take photos inside.

You can go to Stams Abbey by car from Innsbruck in about 35 to 40 minutes. Drive west on the A12 motorway toward Landeck and take the exit for Stams. Then follow the signs to the abbey in the village center. The roads are in good condition and the drive is easy. There is parking near the abbey, so you only need to walk a few minutes to the entrance.
