The monument is abandoned and offers goose bumps chills when arriving. It literally feels like being back in time or on a different planet. Driving around 40 minutes off the main roads up into the hills / mountains, suddenly out of nowhere the Buzludzha Monument stands straight up on a hill looking like a landed UFO.
