This is one of THE spots Canadian National Parks are known for. Every landscape photographer will love it here. And so will every hiker.

Photography Tips

Come here early morning or short;y before sunset to avoid the crowds and find parking. Bring a tripod and graduate ND filters or shoot multiple exposures for HDR. The contrast can be quite large when the sun hits the mountain tops.

Travel Information

Take the road from the town Lake Louise towards the actual lake. Turn left onto Moraine Lake road and follow it to the parking lot (Check whether it is open - it is closed for roughly half a year each year). From the parking lot follow the path long the lake. Most of the shots you see are from the moraine itself but this will give you a fresh perspective.
