Pyramid Island and the surroundings are an excellent choice to do some evening or morning shoots, You have lots of possibilities in all directions, so depending on the action in the sky, you can walk around.
This spot is not on the island itself but gives a view of the island, this spot is more suited as a sunset location, the sun rises to the back of you, can be good to get some alpenglow on Pyramid mountain.

Travel Information

Just drive from Jasper in the direction of Patricia & Pyramid lake, drive past Patricia lake and the restaurant and boat launch to get to pyramid island, there is parking available for 5 cars, but possible parking at the roadside too.
Expect not to be alone, but depending on the season and weather it is possible.
