Part of the movie "Peter Pan and Wendy" was filmed on this coastal strip. You can also see whales here and, if you're lucky, you'll be there when the capelin rolls which was on July 9, 2023.

Unfortunately, it's often foggy in the early summer weeks, but maybe you'll have a bit more luck. Here I was only able to capture a little bit of color at sunset (the sun set diagonally behind me).
