Canada Dinosaur Capital of the World Drumheller
The area around Drumheller is one of the most important sites for dinosaur fossils, which is why the town has promoted itself as the Dinosaur Capital of the World. This is aimed at the child in the Canadian, but it is really well done and consistently followed through. It ranges from street names to the 26 metre high, walk-in Tyrannosaurus Rex (The World's Largest Dinosaur), from shop windows to park benches to the fire brigade. The various exhibits are educational, funny, gigantic and some are even touching. We had a lot of fun spotting them in the city and its surroundings.
