The Hangzhou - Impression West Lake Show is one of the most impressive lightshows I have ever seen. (And I saw a lot…). Within the first seconds of the show you completely dive into the atmosphere. Incredible lights effects, actors that are literally run on water, embraced by the music of Kitaro tell a Chinese love story. If you love the combination of light, water and music this is definitely a MUST SEE!

Photography Tips

We were sitting in the front row directly at the water, where I was able to use the handrail as a stabilizer which I can recommend.
Get the ISO up. I used 640 for my pictures.

Travel Information

We got our tickets from our local guide and went there by taxi. Attention: When the show is over, a lot of people try to get a taxi ;-)
