Czech Republic Sunset on Pecný

Pecny (1334 m above sea level, German Backofenstein[1]) is a mountain in the Hrubý Jeseník Mountains.[2] It is the first peak in the main ridge from the south (i.e. from the Skřítek saddle); the southernmost peak Pec (1311 m above sea level) is merely the pre-peak of Pecny.[2] On the top of Pecny there is a prominent rock formation with a nice view of the Šumpersko region. A green hiking trail runs around the peak from Skřítek via Ztracené kameny to Jelení studánka.

It is better to take photos in the setting sun. You can take photos of the surrounding forests and peaks of the Jeseníky Mountains.

You can reach the top of the mountain by following the green route upwards. The starting point is the location from Skřítku.
