Faroe Islands Road to Vágar, Faroe Islands [drone]

This snake road can be found very close to the airport of the Faroe Islands. It offers a scenic drive along a fjord, passing by some impressive mountains heading toward the North. This is often a place you drive along after arriving on the island.

I used myself in the frame to add some scale to the image. Be aware of vehicles approaching you when walking on the road, and leave it early enough not to interrupt any driver or put yourself in danger. Also, be aware of the close by airport. Your flying height is limited at this location, and do not exceed it due to the low altitude approaches of airliners to land on the Faroe Islands.

I parked my car at the marked location where a few vehicles could find space to stop. It's a great place to have a short break and take in the stunning views of the Faroe islands after your arrival!
