The famous island Tindhólmur with its unique little peaks, can be seen from the road on the other side of the fjord. The drone allows you to get some fantastic perspectives. You can even spot a small house on the East side of that island where nobody actively lives.

Photography Tips

I flew my drone from the other side of the fjord to get this photo. Be aware of the nearby airport and an altitude-restricted area for flying drones. Please do not exceed the given altitude since aircraft must approach the Faroe Islands on a low level to make it.

Travel Information

I did it lazily and flew my drone form the other side to the fjord. You can hike up close to this location. But some local Faroese people (land owners) charge some ridiculous amount of money to use the rails passing their land. therefore it is quite expensive to get here, especially with a group of people.
