Eiffel Tower, Paris France

A great spot for night photography, especially if it is such a cloudy night like the one on the picture. I went there on New Year's Eve and I was searching for a nice spot to capture the fireworks. The spot was pretty nice, but there was no fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, only this lighting of the tower, which is copyrighted by SETE – illuminations Pierre Bideau.

Annotation: I removed the Eiffel Tower from this image until I've got an answer from the SETE if I am allowed to use it on this website or not.
Thank you very much for your suggested change. We will check it as soon as possible and update this spot.

Travel information

There are a lot of Metro stations nearby that you can use to get to the Eiffel Tower. I used Bir-Hakeim, which is only about 2-3 minutes away by foot.

How come nobody before me gave the Eiffel Tower five stars!? You can't go to Paris and not photograph it's most recognisable symbol, right?

Hehe yeah, that's probably true :) But would you also say, that this one is the very best spot to photograph the Eiffel Tower? Your perspective is pretty awesome though, so I would agree on the 5 stars when you found a way to shoot from this place without all those people etc.

I would add to look for puddles, during the fall. It gives such a nice atmosphere!
