Island is located in Vendee, France. But point is the most western photo spot of the island and is a very nice place to enjoy a sunset.

Photography Tips

Scout your spot between "La gournaise" beach and But point. You may use a telephoto lens or a wide angle, depending on the tide, weather conditions and photographer style. Sunset is probably the best time to shoot here.

Travel Information

Come to Yeu island by boat, several companies and two departure harbors are possible from the continent. On the island, the most practical is to rent a bike. "But Point" ("Pointe du But" in french) is 15 to 20 minutes by bike from Port-Joinville.
