Aim for golden hour, especially sunrise, to get a beautiful light on the road. Check local drone regulations first. You might need to obtain a permit from the local authorities. If your drone has a zoom, use it to get more compression.

Travel Information

Follow the parking spot GPS. You can park along the side of the road, as long as you don't disturb traffic. You don't need a 4x4 to drive around the Aubrac region, most of the roads are paved and well-maintained. Be careful in winter as some roads can be slippery, it's mandatory to have snow tyres to drive around in winter.
