France Col de Bavella

In general, the whole valley has many beautiful spots and views of the surrounding mountains. This spot is within walking distance of the "Parking du Col de Bavella" and offers a good view to the south-west to photograph the milky way.

The usual astro-photography tips... like a lens with an open aperture and a tripod.

Like many bushy areas or forests on Corsica, there are a lot of animals coming out during the night. So be aware if you face a cow or a bunch of big wild hogs!
For parking: there is a public parking lot where you have to pay for your time there, but there is also a parking lot (with many potholes - some of them very deep!) right next to the restaurant, which is for free. I have spent the whole night there and couple others were camping there as well.
