Nice lonely tree in the middle of a field.

You will see this tree once you pass the field gate. It's a wonderful lonely tree that makes a great silhouette for Milky Way/stars shots. You need to ask the permission to the owner to stay overnight. Make sure you don't disturb or destroy his field.

Travel Information

Follow the parking spot GPS. You can park along the side of the road, as long as you don't disturb traffic. You don't need a 4x4 to drive around the Aubrac region, most of the roads are paved and well-maintained. Be careful in winter as some roads can be slippery, it's mandatory to have snow tyres to drive around in winter.
