Georgia Ardagani Lake, Georgia
Ardagani Lake offers one of the best locations for photographing Batumi’s modern skyline from ground level. The lake sits directly in front of some of the city’s most distinctive high-rise architecture, creating impressive reflections when the water is calm. The combination of futuristic towers, older buildings, and open water perfectly captures the modern side of Batumi.
Photography Tips
Calm conditions are key at Ardagani Lake. Visit when there is little wind, and the water turns into a huge natural mirror, creating near-perfect reflections of the skyline. Sunrise and early morning are particularly beautiful, offering softer light, fewer people, and a better chance of still water. A wide-angle lens works perfectly for vertical compositions that include both the buildings and their full reflections. A polarizing filter can be useful, but rotate it carefully; you may actually want to preserve as much reflection as possible here.
Travel Information
