Germany Hornisgrinde Black Forest

The Hornisgrinde, 1,164 m (3,820 ft), is the highest mountain in the Northern Black Forest of Germany.

You can watch beautiful sunsets and in the night the sky is very dark, so you can see a lot of stars.

Travel Information

Parking is available at the Hotel Mummelsee, but be prepared for a large crowd of cars during good weather weekends, especially in the winter. You need to hike roughly 20 minutes to reach the top of Hornisgrinde.
