Leuphana University Lüneburg is a public university run by a foundation under public law in Lüneburg in Lower Saxony. Her research focuses on education, culture, sustainability, management and entrepreneurial activity. In teaching, she has established a highly interdisciplinary study model that is unusual for Germany, with a college for undergraduate studies, a graduate school for combining master's and doctoral studies, and a professional school for continuing education studies.
The Leuphana was originally founded in 1946 as Lüneburg University of Education and, with 9,888 students, is one of the medium-sized universities in Germany.
The Leuphana Central Building was built between 2011 and 2017. It was designed by the American architect Daniel Libeskind.

Photography Tips

The building is photographed best in overcast skies (without sunshine). There a many different angles to shoot, so a nice playground for shooting.

You need a wide angle here (16 mm max) to get whole aspects of the building in a single shot. Best time to visit is winter, except for the period leading up to, and including Christmas (avoids external clutter). Weekends are very quiet, but lots of students milling around during the week.
