Germany Bridges in Almbachklamm

The Almbachklamm features 29 bridges and walkways that guide visitors through its rugged terrain. These structures, along with 320 steps and a tunnel, were constructed in 1894 by soldiers of the Ingolstadt Pioneer Battalion to navigate the 200-meter elevation change. The bridges and walkways are designed to integrate harmoniously into the landscape, allowing safe passage over the Almbach stream's waterfalls and pools.
