The Cuvilliés Theater in Munich is said to be the most important rococo theater in Germany. Before the Second World War, it was located on the site of today's Residenztheater and has now been built into the so-called apothecary's floor of the ballroom building of the Munich Residenz.

Photography Tips

it's not very bright in the theater, that should be taken into account. Photography with a tripod was not possible

I found this information on the internet: THEATER TOUR A look behind the scenes 1 hour 20 minutes No break On Saturday afternoons you have the opportunity to discover the world behind the scenes of the Residenztheater. The theater tours convey the history of the building and provide insights into the numerous theater professions and their work processes on and behind the stage. During the tour of the theater we show the stage, the stage machinery, the side stage and the costume store, the tailoring and the props, if possible also the mask workshop. Duration: approx. 80 minutes Tickets: 10.00 / 5.00 Euro I Tickets are available in regular advance sales. Opening hours: October-31 March: Monday-Saturday: 2pm-5pm. Sundays and public holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Greeting Herbert
