Germany Mariä Himmelfahrt interior
The Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary is an originally Gothic, now Baroque-style wall pillar church in Schongau. It dominates the townscape of Schongau. The stucco work in the choir was carried out in 1748 by Dominikus Zimmermann, the builder of the Wieskirche, and in the nave in 1753 by Jakob Stiller from Wessobrunn.
