Tister Moor lies near the village of Tiste in Lower Saxony, between Hamburg and Bremen. The area can be reached easily by car via the A1 motorway; from Hamburg, one follows the route towards Bremen and leaves the motorway at Sittensen, continuing through small country roads until the moorlands open up. From Bremen, the journey follows the same motorway in the opposite direction, with a similar exit. Public transport also provides access: regional trains stop at Tostedt or Rotenburg (Wümme), from where buses or bicycles lead into the moor. A small car park and marked footpaths guide visitors into the reserve, ensuring both accessibility and preservation of the fragile landscape.
