The foundation stone for the new monastery church at Untermarchtal Monastery was laid in 1970, and the church was consecrated on September 27, 1972. The exposed concrete, high-walled, flat-roofed St. Vincent's Church stands on a hill. Its exterior is dominated by two cylindrical structures: the tabernacle and the bell tower.
