Germany Studio 242 – Rental Photo & Video Studio Cologne

Studio 242 is a professional rental studio in Cologne, housed in a historic
glassworks building at Hof 242. Two fully equipped studios available for
photo shoots, video productions, live streams and events.

Studio A (110 sqm): Soft natural daylight through diffuse skylights,
5.5 × 4.5 m cyclorama, 4.9 m ceiling height, full blackout option.
Ground floor access – ideal for large productions and heavy equipment.

Studio B (60 sqm): Controlled artificial light, green screen,
4.5 m ceiling, unique split-level architecture with gallery overlooking
the set – great for creative angles and elevated perspectives.

Both studios include grip equipment, designer furniture, hair & make-up
room, Sonos sound system, Wi-Fi, and final cleaning.
Available 7 days a week, 7am–midnight.

Studio A is best for daylight work – soft, diffused light comes through overhead skylights. For full control, activate the blackout system and bring your own strobes or rent light equipment directly through the booking tool. Studio B is ideal when you need complete darkness and a clean cyclorama look. The gallery level in Studio B gives you an elevated shooting angle that's hard to find elsewhere in Cologne.

Located at Bonner Straße 242, Hof 242, 50968 Cologne (enter through the courtyard gate). Parking available directly in the courtyard – the site is accessible by vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.

By public transport: Tram/Bus stop "Zollstock Mitte" or "Chlodwigplatz" (approx. 5–10 min walk). Also reachable from Cologne main station in about 15 minutes by tram.
