Semperoper, Dresden Germany

The city of Dresden has plenty of beautiful spots that are worth visiting (and worth taking photos of); it is in fact my favourite city in Germany. Semperoper is one of the classic tourist spots that everyone going to Dresden will probably visit. Right next to it are the Zwinger and Dresden Castle as well as the historic city centre.

Travel information

It's best to not take a car into the city. Public transport is great – the tram system in particular – and a day (or multi-day) pass is well worth the money. The closest tram station is Theaterplatz.

Thank you for your kind comment, Manuel. I love travelling and appreciate the great information I have often received from other travellers. This here is a great opportunity to "pay back" a little of that.

That's nice to hear! I also love to share what I already learned by visiting all these beautiful places, because some are easy to reach, plan and photograph, but some are not... and that's where details like these help a lot. Thanks again, I really appreciate that!! :)
