Germany Hechingen Waterfall
This waterfall offers a multitude of great sceneries, ranging from ultra-widefield to tele-lens opportunities.
Photography Tips
Bring ND filters and a good tripod. A rope also helps, since you need to climb a little bit. Watch your steps, it is very slippery there! And the water gets deep very quickly.
Travel Information
Parking nearby, the spot is at the edge of Hechingen. You can cross to the other side of the river by using the train bridge, but watch out for the trains!
Note: The previously indicated parking lot is now a no-parking zone. However, you can also approach from the other side via St.-Lzen-Weg and then Bürgeräcker. Drive past the Martin Baur GmbH gravel pit and pull over to the side of the road there. From there, it’s just a few steps to the railroad tracks. Keep to the left there. Carefully cross the tracks. There’s a small, slippery footpath leading directly down to the spot.
