Sisimiut is Greenland’s second largest town and lies spectacularly between rugged mountains and the Davis Strait. With its colorful wooden houses, sled dogs, fishing harbor and strong Inuit traditions, Sisimiut feels like a place where everyday life is still deeply connected to the Arctic landscape.

Photography Tips

Different daytimes give different lightings on the houses. If you want to have them with backlight, hence the colors and contrasts get stronger, I recommend going in the afternoon time as displayed in these photos.
